Wattamolla Beach - Royal National Park

Hi folks
Here's a contribution from Glenn Crouch to a beautiful location in the Royal National Park called Wattamolla Beach. I visited this place once about 5 years ago but didn't have my camera with me. I do remember thinking that this was a place worth coming back to when I had my camera.

Somersby Falls

Here's a guide to place I haven't yet had the pleasure of photographing - Somersby Falls up on the Central Coast.

Glebe Tram Sheds

It is my pleasure to add this wonderful guide to a pretty unique place - the old tram sheds at Glebe near Harold Park Raceway. This is the location where I shot my image called "Nightmare". It's a fun but freaky place to shoot. I would be very careful if you are shooting there at night, make sure you go with a group.

Next Seascape Workshop Is May 29th & 30th

Hey Folks
I've just announced the next seascape workshop, I'm going to be running it on Sat 29th May and Sun 30th May. At this stage there are 3 spots left. Full details can be found here.

I've run quite a few of these workshops now and the feedback is fantastic. In terms of value for money, previous participants have all rated this workshop as either 9/10 or 10/10 which is wonderful.

May Lane in St. Peters

Hey folks
This is a new guide from Rachael Muller (thanks Rachael). This place looks very cool, I think I'm going to have to swing by and check it out for myself. It reminds me of Hoiser and Rutledge Lanes down in Melbourne (which I have checked out).

Amazing graffiti and street art at this location. If you are looking for something different then you definitely want to read this guide.

Parkes Radio Telescope - The Dish

Cockatoo Island

Here's a guide to a fascinating photographic location - Cockatoo Island. I have personally shot here on a number of occasions. It's a great place for either a day trip, or if you are feeling a bit more like an adventure you can also camp out or rent one of the houses on the island and photograph the place at night.

La Perouse & Bare Island

This is an excellent guide to La Perouse and Bare Island written by Johnno (aka Xenedis).

Centennial Park - Macro Photography Guide

Now this is something different. This is the first Macro guide for a location.... Centennial Park.
This is the first guide from Louis Tsai, and the photos are stunning.... I've mucked about with macro a bit, but nothing like the quality of these photos.

Next Seascape Workshop - Feb 6th & 7th

I've been running these workshops now for about 6 months and they have had fantastic feedback from the participants. I'm putting on another workshop in Feb 2010 for anybody who wants to dramatically improve their seascape photography and post processing skills.

Lithgow Blast Furnace

This is one of my favorite "ruins" to shoot. This photoguide is from David Haworth who has contributed a number of guides to this project (thanks David).

The blast furnace is a really cool place to shoot... lots of interesting shapes, angles, backgrounds etc. It really is one of those "must see" locations in my view. Also makes for some interesting night photography (but I wouldn't shoot this place alone at night).

Here's a new guide from a photographer called Lee Duguid. I met Lee on one of my seascape workshops. He has kindly put together this photo guide for one of Sydney's icon locations, Manly. Now it's not your normal Manly surf beach stuff, but a few alternative locations around Manly that you may want to check out. Some lovely shots and some great ideas.
