I was pretty impressed by Jonathan's first embedded video in one of the photographic guides and thought I'd give it a go on my outing last weekend. I went to Forrester Rocks and took my little Panasonic Lumix LX3 and shot a few simple videos of the area. See what you think.
I welcome any feedback

Cape St. George Lighthouse Ruins (Jervis Bay)
This is a very interesting place... in fact a place I would very much like to photograph. My old man actually took some shots there earlier this year, and I have this location in mind for some light painting in the New Year.
So it was with interest that I read Richard Cordell's guide to St. George Lighthouse Ruins just South of Jervis Bay.
Enjoy

Sylvania Waters Jetty
I must admit when I saw this guide I was surprised that such jettys existed in Sydney.
Check out this very quaint little jetty in Sydney's Sylvania Waters. This guide is courtesy of David Haworth.

Stockton Beach by Brent Pearson
Here's a guide by "yours truly". Last weekend I had the pleasure of camping out at Stockton Beach with my old man and a few other photographic buddies. Also bought my young son along who had a blast.
Anyway, Stockton Beach is a great location for a photographic adventure. Less than 2 hours from Sydney, it combines, shipwrecks, sand dunes, 4WDing, lakes, Mad-Max scenery.

Sydney Harbour Bridge & Opera House
Well someone had to do it... and David did it ;-)
Probably one of Sydney's two most photographed icons, the Coathanger and the Sydney Opera House. This guide points out a few different locations for shooting these two icons of Sydney.

Ruined Castle in the Blue Mountains by Darren Pearce
This is Darren's second guide (thank Darren).
It is really nice to start building up a few more guides that are outside the Sydney metro area.
This guide is for a walk in the Blue Mountains called "Ruined Castle".... looks like a lovely walk. I look forward to giving this a try the next time I am up in the Blue Mtns

The Diggings Thredbo
Here's a contribution from a new contributor, Darren Pearce. It's nice to see that we are starting to get contributions from places other than on the coast. This river looks gorgeous.... the next time I'm in the Mountains I will definitely seek this spot out. Click here to view the guide to The Diggings in Thredbo
